Crane Operator

I like variety in my work. My duties can change daily depending on the job and the site I’m working on.

Crane operators must work in various environmental and hazardous conditions and occasionally in confined spaces under minimal supervision. Crane operators operate various makes and models of lattice boom, telescopic boom, and boom truck cranes. They may also be required to perform minor crane repairs and maintenance.

There are two primary types of crane operators in the industry: mobile and tower cranes. A mobile crane operator safely transports and operates a mobile crane to perform lifts and hoists, assembles and disassembles cranes, and plans lift and crane procedures, including rigging and signalling. A tower crane operator safely operates a tower crane to perform lifts and may be involved with rigging and signalling.

You are a team player.
